City of Split

Located on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea, Split is the second largest city in Croatia and economic, cultural and academic centre of Dalmatia County.

The story of Split is already 17 centuries old, dating to the time the Roman Emperor Diocletian decided to build his Palace right on the peninsula near the great Roman city Salona, where he wanted to spend the last years of his life. During these 1700 years the Palace slowly turned into a city, which to this day lures with its rich tradition, glorious history and beauty of its natural and cultural heritage.

Split is situated on the A1, main motorway in Croatia, 400 km from the capital Zagreb. In Split there is an international airport operating with a great number of international connections.

Bol, island of Brač

Island of Brač is the largest Dalmatian island, endowed with magical bays and covered with forests of cypress trees. Brač has a vast cultural heritage - the oldest place on the island, Škrip, has fortified walls of the Illyrian settlement from the 3rd century. Symbols of Brač are world known Brač stone and popular white-pebble beach Zlatni rat (Golden Horn) in Bol which is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Island of Brač is less than 20 km away from Split Ferry Port and is well connected by ferry and fast boat lines.
